Fire engines from Silloth, Aspatria, Wigton, Carlisle West and the aerial ladder platform and support appliance from Carlisle East have attended a fire on Skinburness Drive in Silloth.
Fire crews were called at 3:11am today, Thursday 18 July.
The fire, involving a commercial property was found to be well alight on arrival.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Firefighters utilised one hose reel jet, a twelve metre ladder, thermal imaging camera, small tools and two breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.
“Crews were in attendance for approximately two hours and fifty minutes.”
