Three people have been injured following a two-vehicle road traffic collision on Moor Row in Whitehaven.
Emergency services were called at 3:53pm today, Sunday 4 August.
The collision involved a car and a van.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Two fire engines from Whitehaven were called to reports of a collision.
“One person was trapped and fire crews used Holmatro hydraulic and eDRAULIC rescue equipment to extricate the casualty from the vehicle
“One casualty was conveyed to hospital by the Great North Air Ambulance Service, a two further casualties were taken to hospital by the North West Ambulance Service.
“Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour and twenty minutes.”
