Adeline Franken presenting raised funds to Morecambe Lifeboat crew at recent open day.

Morecambe Lifeboat Station received a donation of £1110 from Adeline Franken at the stations annual Open Day. Adeline turned adrenaline seeker when she took the plunge at 15,000ft in aid of the RNLI.

Lifeboat Operations Manager, Steve Wilson would like to thank Adeline on behalf of the RNLI for the funds raised from the recent skydive, we are so lucky to have supporters like Adeline raising money for the charity. We would like to wish Adeline a huge congratulations on such an impressive achievement.

The RNLI is a charity which depends on donations, like the funds raised by Adeline to train crew members and equip volunteers to help them save lives at sea.

Around 150 people still lose their lives in the UK and Irish waters annually and the RNLI aims to half the number of accidental coastal deaths by 2024.
