Three team members from Stricklandgate Dental Practice in Penrith have completed a 15,000ft tandem skydive in aid of Hospice at Home, Carlisle and North Lakeland.

Andrea, 47, Hannah, 22 and Sheena, 51, confronted their fears and took to the skies above Cockerham nr Lancaster on Saturday 7th September.

Hannah said: ”The experience was truly unforgettable, to be flying through the sky at over 120 miles per hour was just surreal. We all had the time of our lives and it is fantastic knowing that we are actively making a difference to local people’s lives by raising money for Hospice at Home.”

The Penrith women have now surpassed their fundraising target of £1,200 with the help and support of their friends, family and the patients of Stricklandgate.

Hannah added: ”We would like to thank all of our wonderful supporters but a special thanks has to go to Dr Satya Patel Principal Dentist of Stricklandgate Dental Practice for his support and to all of the team at Rob Taggart Dental laboratory for the generous donation of their services.”

Their trio’s final fundraising total is yet to be calculated as donations are still coming in, if you would like to add to their total you can do so either online via JustGiving https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/strictlydental or in the practice located on Stricklandgate, Penrith.
