Police appeal after cars damaged in Carlisle

Police are investigating a number of incidents relating to criminal damage to vehicles.

The incidents happened on Orton Road, Carlisle, outside the Number 19 Hair and Beauty salon on Saturday 16 October 2019 between 4pm-4:10pm.

A silver Ford Ka had the rear window smashed and a grey car had the rear passenger window smashed.

A group of youths aged between 12-14yrs of age wearing dark clothing were seen running from the scene onto Inglewood Crescent.

Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and saw a group of youths running along Orton Road, Carlisle or a group of youths smashing car windows. Police are especially keen to speak to any drivers who may have caught one of the incidents, or youths involved, on their vehicle dashcams.
