Police are investigating an assault and a disturbance on Cavendish Street, Barrow. The incident occurred on Sunday 10th November 2019 at approx 12:49am.
A 24 year old woman from Barrow was assaulted on the street during the incident resulting in bruising and swelling to her face.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Police arrested three men and three women from Barrow aged in their 20s and 30s at the scene on suspicion of assault, assault on an emergency worker and public order offences. All have been released under investigation at this time.
“Police are asking for witnesses to the incident or any one with mobile phone footage of the incident to come forward.
“The incident is believed to have started in Theatre Bar and moved to Hollywood Bar before the disturbance on the street began.”
