Four fire engines have attended a fire on Lindow Street, Frizington.
Fire crews were called at 12:09pm on Saturday 23 November.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “The fire involved the ground floor of a two storey domestic building.
“Firefighters used six breathing apparatus, three hose reels and three thermal imaging cameras to extinguish the fire.
“Crews remained in attendance for approximately three hours.”
