Cumbrian bid support and project management consultancy Prosure Engineering has expanded into new offices in the town of Cockermouth to support its rapid growth in workload. The new offices are located at Lakeland Business Park in Cockermouth, which is home to the likes of WYG, NFU Mutual and Saints & Co.

Prosure Engineering provides tender and project management support throughout the UK to construction clients in various sectors including rail, highways and nuclear, and has helped its clients secure over £2bn of contracts. Prosure Engineering also provides ‘Lean Construction’ support to help its clients streamline processes and workflows to maximise productivity and efficiency.

Prosure Engineering’s sister company, the tech startup Shareplant, has also relocated to the new office to maximise collaboration. Shareplant is a UK-first online construction equipment sharing & rental marketplace and construction management software suite for site managers and equipment owners. Shareplant brings the efficiency of the sharing economy (services like Uber or Airbnb) to construction plant and tool hire while helping to modernise the management and administration of construction projects by using paperless, cloud-based construction software.

Mark Watters, MD of Prosure Engineering and Shareplant, said: “These new offices are a great milestone for both Prosure and Shareplant, as we help our customers win more work and utilise their assets more efficiently.”
