Transport and forestry group opens courses to the general public
A.W. Jenkinson Trainer and Assessor Scott Blagg with ‘Little Anne’, the mannikin used for resuscitation training, at the Training and Development Centre at the Eden Business Park on Gilwilly Industrial Estate in Penrith.

A.W. Jenkinson Transport Ltd is now offering a range of fully accredited first aid and health & safety courses from its Training and Development Centre at the Eden Business Park on Gilwilly Industrial Estate in Penrith.

The company has been providing in-house training for its employees for many years but it is now opening its courses to the local community.

“Because of the professional sectors we are involved in, our ‘real world’ expertise is considerable,” said trainer and assessor Scott Blagg. “And unlike many local course providers, all our programmes are accredited and regulated by The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual). Our delegates, and their employers, can be assured of top-quality training, delivered on the latest equipment in purpose-built facilities by experienced trainers.”

The courses are available to everyone over the age of 18 and include First Aid for Mental Health, Basic Life Support, Paediatric Emergency First Aid and Defibrillation Annual Refresher among others. They are delivered in association with Nuco Training, the UK’s largest independent provider of First Aid Training.

The next course is The Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work from February 10-12.

To book a course, visit www.nucoplus.com.

For further information, contact Scott Blagg at [email protected], tel: 07392 092768.
