Emergency services are dealing with a serious road traffic collision in Lanercost near Brampton.
Police were called at 5:43pm today.
It’s believed the collision is near Lanercost Priory.
A spokesman for Cumbria Police said: “We are dealing with a serious road traffic collision on a minor road in the Lanercost area.
“This is in the early stages of an investigation, and further details will be release in due course.”
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and find an alternative route.
