Police are currently dealing with an incident on Sandylands Road, Kendal following an assault that occurred at around 1:15pm today (Jan 20).
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “A 17-year-old boy from Kendal suffered injuries not believed to be life threatening and was taken to Royal Lancaster Infirmary.
“It is believed the injuries were caused from a knife.
“Parties involved are believed to have known one another.
“An 18-year-old man from Kirby Lonsdale has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and remains in police custody.
“And an 18-year-old man from Kendal has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and remains in police custody.
“Officers are in the area conducting ongoing enquiries.”
