The team at Honister Slate Mine are running a Cumbrian business open week from 3-9 February 2020 for front of house staff working in hotels and guest houses.
The idea behind the initiative is to help the front of house staff in local hotels and guest houses develop their knowledge of the area to enhance their guests stay, by being able to recommend different activities or things to do depending on their guest’s interests.
Up to two staff members from each business will be able to book on to the all-weather experience which will include a Mine Tour, a taster of the Via Ferrata Extreme or a Climb the Mine taster.
