A Kendal self storage firm has completed its fourth expansion to meet customer demand in the town.

Andrew Porter self storage has opened a further 30 units at Dockray Hall, taking the total capacity to 110.  It first opened in December 2018 with 27 indoor and outdoor storage units, which sold out within a month.

Open now, the latest phase of 25 sq ft to 100 sq ft units is already more than 15% reserved.  All units are purpose-built and protected by CCTV, state of the art alarm systems and key fob entry.

Manager Stephen Gregson has been overseeing the development.

“It’s been fantastic to see the business grow and it’s clear we’re fulfilling a demand for this service in the Kendal area,” he said.

“Many of our customers have been able to move their belongings from out-of-town facilities, making life far more convenient for them.”

Steve continued: “I love meeting our customers and getting to know them.  Everyone has such different reasons for needing self storage and I find it very rewarding being able to help people find the ideal solution for their needs.”

Andrew Porter Ltd also provides professional removal services and took over local firm Richards of Kendal 20 years ago.
