Police are investigating an attempted burglary which happened at about 10pm on 23rd January in the Hammond Close area of Carlisle.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The unknown offender entered a property on Hammond Close, before being confronted by the occupant and leaving.
“The offender is described as a white man, in his 20’s, with short spiky blonde hair, wearing a grey tracksuit and trainers.”
