Care company Gaudium Ltd. has set up an Eden Isolation Support group.
The company’s admin will be using some of their time to gather lists of those willing to volunteer to help elderly isolated individuals and lists of those needing help.
“We just wanted to be able to help co-ordinate efforts in the area to help those in need. The care sector is about to be under even more pressure than ever, and at the same time a lot of people are now at home and wanting to do what they can to help people around them.” Said Director Mariusz Waluk.
Anyone wanting to add their name to the list of volunteers, or wanting to add the name of a friend or loved one who might need help is urged to contact [email protected] or call 01768 890 353 and the team will put volunteers in touch with people in need.
