The team at Shap Chippy are fighting through the Covid-19 pandemic and bringing a smile to their customers faces with the launch of their very own App! Alongside their new online ordering website, getting fish and chips has never been so easy.

They have also made the takeaway area bigger to allow social distancing and with the introduction of this new click and collect process the customers are in and out as quickly as possible, with minimal contact.

“Fish and Chips is celebrating its 160th Birthday this year, and Fish and Chips has seen us through 2 world wars, and we are sure it will be here for a long time after” said Ashley, Co-Owner of Shap Chippy.

Shap Chippy, the current UK’s runner up in the Best Fish and Chip Shop Awards 2020, has joined many other businesses who are innovating how they operate and supporting the local community however they can.

“Small local businesses need the support of their customers now more than ever, we will keep going for a long as we are allowed to, putting in controls and measures to keep our customers and staff safe during this time.” Said Matt Phillips, Co-Owner of Shap Chippy.
