Police are investigating the theft of three bicycles from a garage off Penrith Road, Keswick.
The burglary occurred in the early hours of April 30.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The bikes stolen were a blue, black and white Giant Trinity, a black and white Giant Defy and a grey Canondale.
“An attempt was also made to break into a nearby shed – but nobody got in.”
