Police are investigating criminal damage to a car at Brewery Car Park, Ladies Walk, Workington on Monday 11th May 2020 at around 2:30pm.
The car was unoccupied in the car park and has had an amount of paint stripper poured over it, this has caused the paintwork to bubble and peel away.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “At this time the offender/offenders are unknown.
“Police are appealing for information regarding this incident from anyone who may have been in the area or have seen anyone acting suspiciously at this time.
“We do not know if this vehicle has been a targeted or it was a random act.”
