Cumbria Police are investigating the theft of a 2.5t JCB 802 Excavator that was stolen from a farm in Kershope Forest area, north of Brampton overnight on Saturday 23rd May 2020.
The machinery was driven onto the road where it may have been loaded onto a vehicle or trailer.
Police are appealing for witnesses that have seen any suspicious vehicles in the area, possibly towing a trailer used to steal the machine.
Police are also asking the public to report any sightings of the distinctive bright green JCB digger which are normally yellow. It still retains the original yellow engine cover with pealing black paint.
