A WEST Cumbria man is due to be sentenced next month after admitting offences of burglary and driving while disqualified.
Colin Donald Berry, 28, admitted a total of four crimes when he appeared at Carlisle Crown Court earlier today (TUES).
Berry pleaded guilty to burgling both a home at Lamplugh Croft in Lamplugh, on January 31 with intent to steal, and a commercial premises at Asby Road, Workington, the following day, when tools were stolen.
He further admitted the aggravated taking of a Peugeot 207 on January 31, and driving the vehicle while disqualified on that date.
Berry’s case was adjourned by Judge Nicholas Barker, who asked for the preparation of a probation service pre-sentence report to assist with sentencing.
Berry, of Shore Road, Salterbeck, Workington, is due to receive his punishment at the crown court on July 21.
In the meantime he was remanded in custody by Judge Barker.
