Morrisons in Penrith has reopened to customers after a section of ceiling collapsed during a heavy downpour this afternoon.
A large ceiling tile came crashing down in the fruit and veg section of the store causing rain water to flood the area.
Shoppers were evacuated and the store closed while the damage was assessed and the area made safe.
No one was injured.
The store has now reopened, however an area of the fruit and veg section remains closed off with safety barriers.
