POLICE are investigating an incident of burglary which occurred at the Pennybridge Hall estate, sometime between 4:30pm on 16 August – 8:30am 17 August.

Three petrol chainsaws were taken from a locked compartment by unknown suspects.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed suspicious behaviour around the time of the incident or to anyone who may have seen the chainsaws or been offered them for sale.

We would also like to remind local residents to keep valuable property in a safe and secure place and to keep windows and doors secure.

The chainsaws are described as the following:

  1. Orange and White STIHL MS261 16″ Bar petrol chainsaw
  2. Orange and White STIHL MS362 16″ Bar petrol chainsaw
  3. Orange HUSVANA 576 XP 23″ Bar petrol chainsaw

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact PC 2880 on 101, quoting incident number 59 off 17 August. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
