Pink Link is launching a new network in Kendal to meet the soaring demand for female networking. Known for its proactive approach to connecting and promoting women in business, the organisation has been helping women to grow their business for over 11 years.
Monthly online meetings will provide the opportunity for women to share knowledge, resources and ideas for collaborations, whilst meeting potential new customers and suppliers. They help women to build authentic and meaningful relationships which will benefit their business.
Coral Horn, Founder of Pink Link said “We’re delighted to bring Pink Link to Kendal. We have special ties with Cumbria through our business awards; the Enterprise Vision Awards – last year over 31 Cumbria entrepreneurs reached the finals with 6 going on to win awards! The community spirit of women helping women win shines through in Cumbria and we’re looking forward to building a strong female network here.”
Successful Cumbrian entrepreneur, Emma Porter of Story Contracting is the guest speaker at the Pink Link Kendal launch. In an industry traditionally dominated by men, Emma is a fantastic role model to women looking to enter the construction sector.
Local award winning entrepreneur, Alison Magee-Barker will be heading the Kendal network. She said “I am thrilled to be in the integral process of bringing Pink Link Ladies networking to Cumbria. I have wanted to build a network that would help, support and promote like minded businesswomen here for some time. Pink Link was the ideal avenue to do this, as this is exactly what they have been doing across the North West. After orchestrating #Team Cumbria for the Enterprise Vision Awards there seemed no better partnership to bring Pink Link to Cumbria”.
Businesswomen are invited to join the Pink Link Kendal launch on Friday 25 September from 9-11am. If you would like to find out how a splash of pink can help your business, book your free place here.
