Chocolate Coffee & Hazelnut Cake Bake – Vegan

Ginger Bakers based in the Lake District has experienced an increase in demand for dairy-free and egg-free sweet treats, which has inspired the family run bakery to add to its existing vegan range, creating a decadent Chocolate, Coffee & Hazelnut Cake Bake.

This rich chocolate and coffee cake is made with plain chocolate, artisan coffee roasted by local coffee specialist Rinaldo’s, roasted hazelnuts, and topped with a generous helping of chocolate fudge and tempting hazelnut frosting.

It’s no surprise that Ginger Bakers have seen a rise in demand for Vegan sweet treats with well over 3.5 million Brits now following a plant-based diet, with numbers set to rise still further, especially in the aftermath of the current Pandemic, which has seen a dramatic increase in the demand for vegan products from consumers.

Each cake in their vegan range of cakes is handmade, packed full of only the finest available fresh ingredients, and are free from egg, dairy, gluten, and preservatives.

The new Ginger Bakers Chocolate & Hazelnut cake bake is available across the UK through their online shop and joins their existing range of delicious vegan cake flavours including:

  • Banana & Chocolate loaf cake, a low fat and low sugar loaf, packed with ripe bananas and chocolate.
  • Organic Lemon & Blackcurrant cake bake, made with fresh organic blackcurrants grown by charity partners Growing Well, rounded off with a zesty tang of fresh lemon.
  • Brazil Nut & Sour Cherry boost bar, made with dark chocolate, almonds, cashew nuts, Brazil nuts and naturally sweetened with dates providing a luxurious energy boost.

Lisa Smith founder of Ginger Bakers commented: ‘’Whilst our vegan cakes are suitable for those choosing a plant-based diet, they are also suitable for those who are interested in reducing their dairy consumption, whilst providing tasty alternatives. Breadth of choice is extremely important to us and our customers and we want to provide the same tasty cakes we are known for to all of our customers, especially as more and more of our customers are now seeking out more vegan and vegetarian options on shelf, which is why we’ve added a new cake to our existing range of vegan products.’’
