Mandy McDougall who has joined Eco as Creative Director to head up a new creative and marketing services operation to support businesses and organisations

A DYNAMIC solutions business is expanding its operations by offering businesses and organisations a new creative design and marketing service.

Eco, which services a wide range of business sectors across the UK from its bases in Cumbria and Scotland, is launching the initiative to give further support to companies and organisations.

Mike Jefferson, director and head of Eco’s Comms division for Communications and IT.

Mike Jefferson, director and head of Eco’s Comms division for Communications and IT, said: “Through working with a range of businesses on different solutions it became clear that there was a gap in the market for creative design and marketing.

“Our business is built on trust that we will always provide businesses and organisations with the best, most cost-effective solution.

“By setting up our own creative design and marketing department is another way we can support businesses and help them to achieve their goals.”

Mandy McDougall, who has worked in design and marketing for more than 25 years, has joined Eco as Creative Director.

Mandy, 45, has previously worked with Eco as a freelance creative consultant and was invited to join the team after playing an integral part in the company’s rebrand.

Mike said: “We are delighted that someone of Mandy’s experience and skills has chosen to join team Eco to lead this new part of our business.

“We are really looking forward to Mandy working with us and the team to help support more businesses and organisations with their design and marketing solutions.”

Mandy and colleagues in the Eco Comms team will help companies with any form of visual communications and marketing, including website design and build, corporate presentations, and design and branding for digital, print, outdoor or event spaces.

Mandy, who studied at the Glasgow School of Art, has worked as a marketing director and for design agencies. She has specialist knowledge of 3D modeling and animation having also been a college lecturer in Glasgow.

More recently Mandy has been working as a freelance creative consultant, including heading up Eco’s successful rebrand.

Mandy said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to be working with an enthusiastic, dynamic and positive team.

“Even as a consultant I always felt part of the Eco team. I have really enjoyed Eco’s customer-focused approach. It’s very much in line with my ethos and way of working.

“I like to support businesses and organisations by building strong relationships with customers. In terms of design and marketing that means working with clients in a way in which they still retain ownership of their own brand. It’s very important to me that the customer is comfortable with all stages of the design process and that they see us as an extension of their team.

“This expansion is a natural fit for Eco’s Comms division so that in addition to offering businesses the best tailored mobile, hosted and IT solutions, we are now also able to offer bespoke design and marketing solutions.”
