Three fire engines have attended a domestic building fire on The Sands in Appleby-in-Westmorland.
Fire crews were called at 1:35am today, Wednesday 21 October.
The fire involved a first floor flat.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire and were on scene for one hour and forty-seven minutes.”
