Police are investigating an incident of burglary that occurred between 4:15pm on 18th and 3pm on 19th November, in the area of Joseph Noble Road, Lillyhall.
A red and black Honda generator was taken during the incident.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have any information to please get in touch.”
