A Carlisle-based mother of two has turned her passion for baking into a new venture. Magda Wilcock, originally from the Czech Republic, has collected her great grandmother’s and grandmother’s recipes for delicious Czech Christmas sweets. And the lovely festive creations are called Valentina’s Minis.
From vanilla horseshoes and chocolate drops to honey mini cakes and cheeky rum nutties. The traditional Czech sweets can be ordered via Valentina’s Minis Facebook page.
Delivery is available once a week, with orders to be confirmed by Sunday each week.
The boxes of the festive treats, named after Mrs. Wilcock’s daughter, are from £3 (small box) to £25 (big Christmas Hamper).
So, whether it’s something new to try with your cup of tea or coffee or a present for someone you have not seen for some time due to the current pandemic, head to Valentina’s Minis Facebook profile and choose your little treat.
Magda Wilcock, Valentina’s Minis creator said: “Baking is something I always loved, and I thought it’d be great to share my family Christmas treats recipes with everyone else.
“These Christmas sweets are little nibbles that are just perfect to accompany an afternoon brew.”
Orders under £10 are subject to a small delivery fee.
