A man has died following a collision in Whitehaven last Thursday.
The collision, on the Loop Road, happened at around 4.55pm.
It involved two vehicles a Volkswagen Polo and a Citroen Nemo.
Local man, John McTear, aged 85, known to friends and family as Jack, died while in intensive care at Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Jack leaves behind a widow Marjorie, two sons, a daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren.
