Three men from the North East were fined £200 each in the Alston area for breaking coronavirus regulations.
Police said they stopped a car following a report from a member of the public on Friday night.
The three men in the car all lived at different addresses in Bishop Auckland.
They were issued with fixed penalty notices for breaching the regulations.
