
Three people have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after an incident in Carlisle on Sunday.
Police were called to St Ninians Road at around 11.25pm to a report that two local men, aged 31 and 27, were injured.
The 31-year-old man suffered stab wounds. The 27-year-old suffered serious injuries not believed to be life-changing.
The 31-year-old man was taken to hospital. He is in a stable condition.

A 27-year-old man a 26-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman, all local, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
They remain in police custody.
A police cordon is in place at St Ninians Road footbridge, over the River Petteril, while investigations are conducted.
