Regional training provider PHX Training has strengthened its management team with a senior appointment.
With 12 years’ experience in leadership and management, Jordan Hilton has joined the company as business manager, and will oversee PHX’s Carlisle centre.
Briony Fawcett, managing director of PHX Training, said: “This senior appointment has come at an important time for PHX, with the company having recently been selected by the government to deliver the Kickstart programme in the coming months.
“In these incredibly difficult times and with the challenges being faced due to the impact of COVID, more people need our help to grow their skillset or find employment than before.
“Jordan is well equipped with the expertise and experience required to provide effective leadership to his team and ensure delivery of the highest level of support to our learners.”
Jordan said: “It really appealed to me that PHX Training is a family business. My focus in this role will be to build positive relationships with the team and our learners while inspiring them to achieve their goals, and I’m looking forward to the challenge.”
PHX Training delivers government-backed initiatives, adult skills, NEET (not in education, employment or training), employability contracts, apprenticeships and work-based learning programmes.
It has six training centres in Barrow, Carlisle, Workington, Morecambe, Preston and Blackpool.
