M6 roadworks roundup for Cumbria

Roadworks are ongoing

A number of lanes are closed across the M6 in Cumbria due to various works.

Here are the roadworks on the M6 in Cumbria today:

  • Between junction 37 (Kendal) and 39 (Shap) northbound – One lane is closed from 9pm today until 10pm tomorrow for roadside drain works.
  • Between junction 37 (Kendal) and 38 (Shap) southbound – One lane will be closed until 9pm on March 6. This is to allow for horticulture works.
  • Between junction 38 (Tebay) and 39 (Shap) southbound – One lane is closed from 8pm today until 9pm tomorrow. This is to allow for roadside drain works to take place.
  • Between junction 41 (Catterlen Interchange) and 42 (Carlisle south) northbound – One lane will be closed until 8pm on March 5. This is to allow for roadworks.
  • Between junction 41 (Catterlen Interchange) and 43 (Carlisle) northbound – One lane is closed for roadworks until 8pm on March 4.
  • Between junction 41 (Catterlen Interchange) and 44 (Carlisle north) southbound – One lane is closed until 8pm on March 5 for roadworks.
