
Three more people have died with coronavirus in Cumbria.
Today’s Public Health England figures showed that there were two deaths in patients with coronavirus in Allerdale and one in South Lakeland.
The figure includes any deaths within 28 days of a positive test, newly reported today.
The number of new daily cases was as follows:
Allerdale – 6
Barrow – 3
Carlisle – 3
Copeland – 2
Eden – 6
South Lakeland – 4
The latest weekly figure for the number of deaths where COVID-19 was mentioned on the death certificate – for the week ending March 5 – was 21 for Cumbria.
