A Cumbrian council has announced its arrangements for the upcoming bank holidays.
Copeland Borough Council says all household waste, recycling and garden waste collections will be as normal on April 2.
Collections will then take place one day later than normal in the week beginning Monday, April 5 (including a Saturday collection for those who would ordinarily be collected on Friday, April 9).
Residents can find out when their next collection will be at www.copeland.gov.uk.
From 5pm on Thursday, April 1 to 9am on Tuesday, April 6, the council’s out-of-hours emergency number for issues relating to homelessness and domestic abuse support is 01946 598300.
For dangerous structures, call 01946 427121 out of office hours.
For flooding, sandbags requests for residential properties and serious food safety incidents, call 01946 427171 out of office hours.
