Teenage girl assaulted by group of males

A teenage girl was assaulted by a group of males in Carlisle city centre.

Police are probing the incident on the footpath between the Sheepmount and Engine Lonning in Carlisle at about 2pm on April 3.

It was reported that a girl in her early teens was assaulted by a group of males.

The girl was not seriously injured but was left shaken and distressed by the incident. She sustained injuries including bruising.
