A teenage girl suffered injuries to her face after a play park assault by a man in his 50s.
Police are probing the attack that is alleged to have taken place at about 7.30pm on March 31, at the play park off St Ninian’s Road in Carlisle.
A girl in her mid-teens was assaulted by a man in his fifties. She sustained minor injuries including bruising to the face.
The man is described as white, six-foot, stocky build and balding with grey hair on the side of his head. He was wearing jeans and walking an English bull terrier at the time of the incident.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
