A woman who was left in a critical condition after a crash in Cumbria is now recovering at home.
The local woman, in her 50s, was airlifted to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle on February 24 after a crash on the A596 at Micklethwaite.
Cumbria police were called to the collision involving a Volvo HGV and a Vauxhall Corsa at about 8.40am.
The driver of the Corsa suffered serious injuries and the driver of the Volvo was uninjured.
A spokeswoman for Cumbria Constabulary confirmed the woman has now been discharged from hospital and is recovering at home.
