Officers investigating an assault which left a man with facial injuries in Kendal have made a second arrest.
A 28-year-old man has been arrested today and remains in police custody after an incident in the Kirkland area in the early hours of yesterday morning.
A 27-year-old man arrested yesterday also remains in police custody.
Officers have also established one of the men pictured in an earlier CCTV image was a witness to the incident.
