Two more men arrested in Silloth assault investigation

Detectives investigating an assault have made two more arrests.

Officers were called at about 10.30am on May 28 to the area of Pennine Close in Silloth.

A 46-year-old man from Silloth has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent. He remains in police custody

A 26-year-old man from no fixed address has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent. He has been released under investigation.

A 19-year-old man from Silloth was earlier arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent. He has been released under investigation.

The man injured, 29-year-old from Liverpool, was airlifted to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle with injuries that were believed to be serious, he was discharged shortly after.
