Carlisle man suffers head injuries after Bitts Park assault

Cumbria police are investigating after a man suffered head injuries following an assault in Bitts Park in Carlisle.

A man suffered head injuries after an assault in Bitts Park in Carlisle.

The assault happened on Friday at about 6pm, in Bitts Park, near to the underpass at Hardwicke Circus.

The incident involved three males, all believed to be in their late teens.

A local 19-year-old man sustained head injuries believed to be minor during the assault.

The two other males are described as white and in their late teens.

One had short brown hair with shorts back and sides, a slim face, slim build wearing a white top and dark bottoms. He was riding a white bike.

The second male had blonde hair, was tall, medium build wearing a white top and dark bottoms. He was riding a pale green bike.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who can identify the two unknown males.
