
Three people arrested after a suspected stabbing in Carlisle have been released under investigation.
Police were contacted shortly before 2.10am yesterday with a report that a man had been stabbed near the KFC restaurant on London Road.
A 32-year-old man, from Carlisle, was arrested on suspicion of assault GBH with intent.
Two women from the Carlisle area, aged 27 and 23 respectively, were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
All three have been released under investigation.
A spokeswoman for Cumbria Constabulary said: “A team of detectives are progressing inquiries.”
