A man has been arrested following an attempted robbery at a South Lakes Post Office this morning.
It has been reported that two men, described as wearing dark clothing and black masks, attempted to take an item from a woman at Rinkfield Post Office on Burton Road in Kendal at around 8am.
The men left the area in a Silver Volkswagen Bora.
A 20-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
