
A major West Cumbrian road, closed following a serious road collision, has reopened.
The collision, which involved a tractor and a Ford car, occurred on the A66 at Cockermouth between the Low Road roundabout and the Oakhurst roundabout.
Emergency services were called at 5.50am yesterday morning.
The Great North Air Ambulance attended and fire crews were called to help get casualties out of the vehicles.
No updates from Cumbria police have been given about injuries of the people involved.
