Police are investigating a report of an attempt burglary at a home in Cockermouth on Wednesday.
During the incident, which occurred between 1pm and 1.30pm, a man was disturbed by the owner of the property, on Evening Hill Drive, before leaving.
Nothing was reported to have been taken.
The man is described as a white, 6ft, with short dark brown hair, wearing a black polo top and black shorts. The man said he was delivering in the area.
