
A man has been arrested for racist abuse and for assaulting an emergency worker.
Police are investigating a racially aggravated public order offence on July 13 at about 9.30am at Cost Cutters, Station Road, Workington.
A 25-year-old man from Workington has been arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated public order, assault on an emergency worker, possessing a controlled drug Class B and resisting a constable in the execution of their duty. He has been released on police bail.
Police are keen to talk to a male who may have witnessed this incident.
