Emma Copley

Two new members of staff have joined David Allen Financial Services.

Emma Copley and Gary Morrison approached the firm for the opportunity to begin their careers in the industry and Steve Balmer, financial services managing director said he was more than delighted to bring them into his team.

Emma was previously a mortgage adviser within the banking industry, where she worked for 17 years.

She completed a diploma in financial planning and approached the David Allen team to further her career.

Gary Morrison

Gary decided to begin studying for his diploma in November 2020 and contacted David Allen via its website about work experience.

He joined the team for a month and his enthusiasm and personality impressed the entire team, the company said.

Gary said: “I knew after completing the work experience that I wanted to work for David Allen and that I’d relish the opportunity to fulfil my career goals with the firm.

“Every single member of staff that I met or shadowed was extremely supportive and went over and above to make me feel welcome.”

Steve said: “This is a very exciting time for us as a newly directly authorised firm.

“I am thrilled that Emma and Gary have such a great view of our firm and we can’t wait to help them through their career goals to work in independent financial advice.”
