An insurance business is continuing its expansion with growth across Cumbria.

RAW Insurance, which is based in Carlisle, plans to open an office in south Cumbria later this year.

RAW, established by Ryan Roberts and Stephen Ward three years ago, has more than 500 clients and operates across the whole of the UK.

As part of its expansion plans, RAW made a key addition to the team by appointing Russell Linton to head up its south Cumbrian operation covering Kendal, South Lakes, Ulverston and Barrow.

Russell, who lives in Kendal, has more than 30 years of experience working in the insurance industry in south Cumbria.

Russell said: “Having lived and worked in Kendal and south Cumbria all my life, clients know that I understand the area and the local economy. They know I’m there to help and advise them, and that I’m visible and contactable.

“Joining RAW was a fantastic opportunity to take on a fresh challenge and be part of something new and exciting.”

Stephen said: “Russell’s experience in the industry and his people-first approach fits perfectly with the way we work.

“We feel it’s important that we deliver the best service to our clients, while also creating a relaxed, friendly environment where we know clients by name, not policy numbers.

“Russell is ideally placed to lead the growth of RAW Insurance in south Cumbria.”
