Firefighters were called after youths lit a number of fires before throwing gas canisters onto the blazes.
Keswick Fire Station attended an island on Thirlmere today after reports that a number of small fires had been started by a group of youths.
Crews found that gas canisters had also been thrown onto the fires.
“This could have caused serious injuries to those involved,” a statement from Keswick Fire Station said.
