A 21-year-old woman received a cut lip and damage to her leg during an assault also involving two men in Barrow.
Police were called at around 7.40pm on August 15 with a report of an assault involving two men and a woman on Cavendish Street at about 3.30pm that day.
Officers said they were aware of CCTV footage circulating of the incident and are looking to identify two men as part of their enquiries.
The first man is described as white, of a medium build, approximately 25 years of age, with short dark hair, with a beard and wearing a short sleeved white shirt and dark pants.
The second man is described as white, of a slim build, approximately in his early 20’s, short brown hair and wearing a long sleeve white shirt, dark pants.
A local 21-year-old female received a laceration to her upper lip and damage to her right leg.
